Mr Whirly says:
” Love this wine, brings back so many wonderful memories of travelling through Australia in the Autumn of 2000 and somehow managing to get through the lightning and thunder storm as I headed to the home of Lillypilly, Leeton. This is their gem, their ” Coup de Cours” their heart and soul. Sticky wines from Australia can be exceptional and this is certainly a great example of the wonders of sticky humid mornings in late Autumn, around March and April. Blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat. Perfect at anytime summer and winter with apple tarts, apricot tarts, lemon tart and treacle sponge pudding. You get the gig!”

“A blend of Sauvignon blanc and Muscat. Full orange-gold. Lifted ripe apricot, vanilla cream. Candied peel and ginger flavours. Has freshness and line, and just enough of everything except perhaps bottle age. Give it a bit more time to fill out and complex further, but is still very good refined drinking now.”
