Description

I love Marsanne. I love Rousanne too! Both are lovely Rhone grapes that I first tasted high up in the Victorian wines hills near Yarra, east of Melbourne in 2000.

Mr Whirly says:

” This wine shows off the Rhone grape really well at an affordable price. From a small wine region, Chavanay, just south of Condrieu, this wine is tight and grippy with dry notes of cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose and grapefruit and lemon on the palate. A very dry wine that would pair well with shellfish and a lightly spiced Thai curry.”
