Mr Whirly says:
” Fruit led Pinot Noir from small producer in Chambolle Musigny. Nice summer fruits and a little spice on the palate. Great quality wine for the price of £27.50.”
Reviews:
“The 2015 Haut Côtes de Nuits Rouge was picked on 11 September, the last red grapes to be picked just before the rain. Matured with 10% new oak, it has a slightly smudged bilberry and black plum-scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, very focused and harmonious in the mouth with a gentle grip on the grainy finish. If the aromatics can gain more precision, this will deserve a higher score.” 88/100
